A transparent work in progress

What we’re building.

Varelune is being built as a calmer, more private way to keep the parts of your health story that are easy to lose between appointments, apps, and years. This is the public, plain-language view of the work.

How to read this page

This is a curated snapshot, not a delivery schedule. Priorities can change as we test the product, review privacy and security work, and learn from people using it. Linear remains our internal source of truth; this page leaves out internal implementation details and sensitive security work.

Active work

In progress

Work currently moving through design, implementation, or review.

In progress

A private health record foundation

Building the record, onboarding, and health overview surfaces that help people keep body, mind, cycle, medications, and care context together.

In progress

Sharing and export controls

Working toward clearer ways to prepare and share selected information when you choose, rather than handing over an entire history.

In review

Reminders that stay optional

Developing local reminders and scheduling with user control at the center. Varelune should support attention, not compete for it.

In progress

Life-stage and wellbeing support

Continuing work across onboarding, cycle context, mental and emotional wellbeing, and the health changes that do not fit neatly into one category.

Likely next steps

Next, not promised.

Priorities we are exploring or preparing without attaching a public delivery date.

Next

Portable records

Continue the import and export work so your information is easier to move, review, and keep under your control.

Next

Document and voice notes

Explore document scanning and voice journaling as optional ways to capture context without making the record harder to understand.

Next

User-controlled backup choices

Design backup and recovery around explicit opt-in decisions, clear explanations, and safeguards appropriate for sensitive health information.

Built in the current product work

What has taken shape.

Completed work is part of the story, but it is not the same as saying the full product is ready.

Built

Onboarding and first-run foundations

Core onboarding screens, recovery flow, and the first shape of a private record.

Built

Journaling and timeline foundations

Journal entries, period notes, timeline review, insights, and everyday context.

Built

Medication and appointment records

Health record surfaces for medications, appointments, and the details around them.

Built

Local notifications

Optional device-level notification foundations that do not require turning health history into a cloud service.

A boundary worth stating plainly

Some privacy work is not finished yet.

Varelune is not ready for sensitive health data until its encrypted storage, key handling, backups, recovery behavior, and independent review are complete. We will not use a roadmap label to turn work in progress into a security promise.

If you want to help shape the product, request beta access or contact us. Please do not send sensitive medical information.
